We've just arrived in the Chicago area after 3 days in Wisconsin. On the way down from MI on Monday we toured Lambeau Field and the Green Bay Packers Museum. Really cool. Was going to buy a bunch of Cheesehead hats for everybody, but at $19.95 per Cheesehead, and limited space in Old Faithful, decided to take a pass.
On Tuesday (at the recommendation of Wisconsinite Don Keegan ) we played golf at the Woodlands course at Lawsonia in Green Lake. It was fabulous - thanks Don! Today we played the "Irish" course at Whistling Straits... absolutely gorgeous! Here's a pic of us (taken by our caddie) at one of the signature holes (#11).
We're planning to be in the Chicago area for a few days visiting with Beccy's family and the McQuillans (and attending a Cubs-Phils day game at Wrigley on Friday) before we head West to Iowa and the Field of Dreams.
